La
Clusaz
La Clusaz is one of the oldest ski villages in the French Alps, having its
roots firmly established in 1931. The village is traditionally French
and still has much of its original charm and style intact unlike many of
the purpose built resorts. La Clusaz is a friendly and lively small village in the heart of
the Aravis Mountain Range. La Clusaz is an easy drive from the Channel ports, just 20 miles from the lovely
lakeside town of Annecy and 28 miles from Geneva, this is a mountain
village retaining rustic charm, old farming chalets and French
atmosphere. There is a surprisingly large local ski area which takes in 5
interlinked mountains in and around La Clusaz.
