L’Etale 1500m

A small purpose built hamlet with supermarket and bakery, L’Etale has its own compact ski area within the Aravis circuit. Manigod, Croix Fry and l’Etale together comprise 25km pistes, boarder cross and half-pipe, providing an excellent base for those looking for quiet skiing in natural surroundings. Car recommended. Non-skiing: walks and snowshoe walks, bars, restaurants.

La Clusaz 1100m

With a pretty Christmas card feel all winter long, this thriving mountain community retains its old farm chalets and cobbled streets, giving a rustic charm and a very Gallic atmosphere. Non-skiing: skating rink, aquatic park, fitness centre, ice karting, discos, bars.
