Courchevel 1650m
Courchevel 1650
has a small, old village centre, some peacefully
located chalets and extensive local skiing, somewhat off the beaten
track from the more crowded Three Valleys thoroughfares.
Courchevel 1650, formerly known as ‘Sunny Montriond,’ is known for
being comparatively “cheap and cheerful”. It connects into
the circuit by gondola above gentle tree lined runs, with essentially
the same skiing as 1850m.
The Three Valleys
1650m-3200m
Courchevel is the most extensive and
varied sector of the whole Three Valleys, with everything from long
gentle greens to steep couloirs. If you want to there is good access to
the rest of the Three Valleys. Courchevel is just a gondola ride below 1850m and above the
resort of La Tania.
